Building your own Quad is SIMPLE, If you follow the directions here on this page you will
find that when you complete your QUAD, It WILL flat out work. Please resist the urge to
modify your Quads design based on what someone says or suggests or something you have
read on any of the online fourms as they are mostly full of usless, wrong and
unsubstainated results.
Signal Engeering has been the best source for correct information I have been able to
find to date, If you follow their directions on building a QUAD, I can GUARENTY you will

My standard Quad is designed to used with a boom with a outside diameter of 2.000 inches,
I have been using standard radiator style hose clamps for the past 2 years now without
any failure what so ever. You may use any clamp of your choice as I do not include these
clamps with my spiders to try to keep cost down.
My Spiders weight in at 3/4 of a pound, This light weight and minimal surface area keeps
rotor and wind loading at the absolute lowest numbers possible.
I use flexweave wire for my wires, I have found this wire to be perfect for my Quad, here
is the link.
